Ellie's switchblade

A fun personal project that I’ve wanted to do for a while now. With The Last of Us part 2 out I couldn’t help myself but feel even more inspired to recreate this awesome switchblade. Knowing that this switchblade had been with Ellie for quite a while, I tried to make the blade look quite old and very used. Adding discoloration on the blade + the handle and dents. The handle is made from wood with an ivory inlay. Modelled in Maya, dents on the blade were done in zBrush and textured in Substance. Endure and Survive!
